  • The title refers to what is commonly known as double vision.
  • In this episode, one of the Witchblade's other names, spoken partially in the previous episode, is "Digitabulum Magae", meaning "The Magician's Finger" in Latin.
  • At the end of the episode, the graffiti artist paints what may be a comic book reference to the Witchblade, as the woman is depicted wearing organic armor.
  • Gabriel reveals that the Witchblade has been possessed by women across history, some famous, some not, and that its history spans different cultures, oral myths, and so on. He also reveals that the Witchblade punishes pretenders that are not meant to wear it.
