The Mutated Woman is an unnamed woman, appearing in issue 3 of Tales of the Witchblade.

Downtown[]
After evading heavily armed attackers, detective John Chimu was approached by the mutated woman. Chimu is disgusted by the woman for wearing an animal fur. Before he can do anything, the mysterious lady overpowers him and bites Chumo's tongue with her snake-like tongue causing him to lose consciousness. She then carries him to hostel like place, owned by her mistress, Selena Lauren.

- Mutant Physiology: The unnamed woman was a mutant and possessed multiple superhuman abilities.
- Enhanced Strength: The woman possessed superior strength, able to easily overpower Chimu, a fully grown man.
- Tongue-Snake: The woman's most peculiar ability was her tongue-snake. She used the tongue to incapacitate her targets by biting and injecting her target with a strong sedative.
- Mind Reading: By tasting her victim's blood, the mutated woman could read their minds. This way, she was able to find out why Chimu came to Downtown.
